Absolutely! Our BSL Level 1 course is designed for complete beginners with no prior experience needed. Whether you're learning for work, family, or personal interest, we welcome everyone.
No prior experience is required! Our courses are designed for complete beginners. We'll guide you through everything from basic signs to conversational skills.
We welcome learners of all ages! Our courses are suitable for children (age 7+), teenagers, and adults. We also offer specialized BSL for children programs.
Our main BSL Level 1 course is held at St Thomas' Children's Centre in Boston. We also offer Deaf Awareness training at your location or online.
90 hours, split between face-to-face classes (Tuesdays, 5:30–8 pm from October to July) and online activities. The course runs for approximately 20-30 weeks part-time.
With engaging videos, discussions, activities, and online resources on Canvas. No tech experience needed—we'll guide you through everything.
Not necessarily! It's up to you. We assess your readiness, but you can choose to learn without sitting the exam.
Three video-recorded conversations with your teacher, based on class topics. The first is internally marked; the others are sent for official grading.
Don't worry — you can resit anytime (fees apply). We're here to support you throughout your learning journey.

Our Deaf Awareness sessions help businesses, schools, and community groups improve communication and inclusion. You'll gain insight into Deaf culture and learn practical strategies for accessible communication.
We offer flexible formats from 1 hour to half-day or full-day workshops, tailored to your organisation's needs.
Yes! We can deliver training in-person or online, depending on your preferences and requirements.
Your team will learn about Deaf culture, practical communication strategies, how to create inclusive environments, and basic BSL signs for workplace communication.
Full course fees are due within 3 months of starting, including exam fees (refundable if you opt out of exams). Contact us if your employer is covering costs.
